The Shiromani Akali Dal today hit out at ‘newly born’ Congress leader Navjot Sidhu for his dirty dialogues and cheap language against the political opponents and reminded him that during the last Haryana assembly elections the SAD had won the Kalanwali seat with huge margin where he had campaigned aggressively against the party.
In a statement released here today, the Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that Navjot Sidhu may be a good actor of the laughter shows who can do good entertainment of the public with his dialogues, but he cannot mislead the public in political field with these dialogues. She reminded the ‘celebrity leader’ of the Congress party that he had campaigned aggressively against the SAD during the Haryana elections on Kalanwali seat where the candidate of the SAD had won the election with thumping majority and the person for whom he campaigned was not even a close contestant.
Mrs. Badal said that now history will be repeated in Punjab and whatever foul and abusive language he chooses against the SAD, it will go in favour of the SAD as the people are aware of the truth that it is only the SAD-BJP alliance which had carried out unprecedented development in the state besides implementing various welfare measures for different sections of the society.
She also reminded the former MP of Amritsar that his claims of discrimination with the holy city have also been exposed before the people and what has been done with the blessings of almighty in Amritsar, he cannot have imagined that.
Ridiculing his claim of ‘ghar vapsi’ and the Congress being his real mother party, the SAD leader asked him that if the case was so, what the AAP was for him as he had series of meetings with the AAP leadership to join the party which had even offered post of Deputy Chief Minister of the state to him.
Harsimrat said that the reality is that Sidhu is good for nothing in the political field and his illusions of turning the fortunes of the Congress party in the present assembly elections with his campaign full of dirty dialogues and foul language will be proved wrong on March 11, 2017.
