SAD hits backs at Amarinder: You initiated culture of violence and provoking people not us



The Shiromani Akali Dal today hit back at Capt Amarinder Singh for his statement decrying Harsimrat Kaur Badal for allegedly instigating violence and said that if he remembers it was he himself who initiated a culture  of violence and instigating people against the political opponents.

In a statement released from party head office here today, the SAD Spokesman and advisor to Punjab Dy CM Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that it was surprising to see his baseless, irrelevant and misguiding statement against the Akali Dal. He said that people can understand that his habitual forgetter but we need to remind you that it was your good-self who told people that he will use ‘khoonta’(wooden stake) for punishing political opponents.

Sirsa said that had he also forgot that he had declared that "once code of conduct is implemented people will not let the akalis in their villages.” He said that these cheap statements mark the beginning of instigating the people. He said  that the PPCC Chief also need to the be reminded that Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal had welcomed the announcement of elections and also appealed to all political parties to cooperate with the Election Commission of India for conduct of peaceful, fair and impartial poll in the state.

The SAD leader said that SAD is a party of principles which believes in universal brotherhood, communal harmony, peace and progress of the Punjab and the country. On the other hand Congress party is knows for inciting communal violence, disturbance and creating hindrance in the path of peace and progress.
