BREAKING NEWS: Strange things happen in Tamil Nadu - Now, SC bench to deliver two judgements in Sasikala case
Sasikala case suspense continues. Supreme Court cause list for Tuesday is out, and it makes it clear there will be two separate judgments in Sasikala case. Of course, it does not mean there will necessarily be two judgments diametrically opposite to each other or concurring with each other. So, if one judge holds her guilty and the other does not, will conviction stand? Expert legal opinion says it will not. And the case may go to a three-judge SC bench. Alternatively, any concurring judgement may rescind the acquittal, or may refer the case back to the high court for a retrial. Clearly, two separate and opposing judgments will mean good news for Sasikala.
