The incident took place yesterday when the forest department of Mount Abu caught a python from a private hotel in Sirohi.
Subsequently, forest department officials reached the spot and captured the reptile. This is when the person in question tried to capture the moment along with the reptile.
Two other men were carrying the python when another youth thought of posing for a selfie with the captive python.
No sooner had he stepped back without looking at the python to align with him for the selfie, the reptile lunged at him and bit him suddenly.
The victim is reportedly unharmed but he sure has learnt a valuable lesson in how or how not to deal with animals.
