Dr. Karan Singh Sandhu, the elder son of senior journalist turned AAP leader Kanwar Sandhu passed away Wednesday morning.

35-year old Karan died of cardiac arrest.  He complained of uneasiness at around 5.30 in the morning and was rushed to PGI where he was declared brought dead.

Karan is survived by his parents, wife and a younger brother. He was supposed to return to Canada on 14th March after the election results of Punjab assembly. 

Karan had retweeted his father’s tweet few hours before he had cardiac arrest.

The body of the deceased was then moved to Sandhus’ house at Sukhna Enclave in Kansal.

 

His cremation will take place today at Sector 25 cremation ground, Chandigarh at 4.00 pm.
